Attorneys Bruner and Vukelic successfully defend school district against discrimination charge before NDDOL and EEOC
September 24, 2015
Attorneys Rachel Bruner and Meredith Vukelic successfully defended a large public school district client against a Charge of Discrimination filed with the North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The Charging Party alleged he had suffered sexual harassment and that his discharge was in retaliation for reporting alleged violations of law, in violation of the North Dakota Human Rights Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. The Department investigated the claim and determined the evidence did not support the Charging Party’s allegations. The EEOC adopted the findings of the North Dakota Department of Labor.
Bruner and Vukelic routinely represent employers in their defense of discrimination, retaliation, and wage claims brought before the Department. They focus their practices on education and employment law, and represent dozens of school districts across the state of North Dakota.
